We’ve heard a rumor that is getting some of us here in Uganda down. Please keep praying. I am believing I will be coming home soon.

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.” Psalm 5: 11-12

  1. Oh no not now ! Keep your Faith , will continue to pray for a quick and safe return.

  2. Salem, here’s the verses I am clinging to today in my own adoption struggles. Praying they are of some comfort to you as well.

1 Kings 19:11-13 — “Then a great & powerful wind tore the mountains apart & shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire, after the fire came a gentle whisper.”

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy
    Spirit.”– Romans 15:13

  3. We are still praying Salem! “The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. ” Isaiah 58:8-11

  4. Salem,

I just saw a post on another blog in regards to the rumor. If it is true, please let us know who to contact and what we should state in our conversations.

Can you guys get in to see Jerry P. Lanier, Ambassador to the Republic of Uganda or communicate with him at all?
